CUPCAKES were sold and stickers given away to raise money and awareness for hearing-impaired children outside the ASB bank on The Strand, Whakatane, yesterday.
Friday is national Loud Shirt Day, a day when people this year are expected to wear Mexican-themed, loud, bright, fashion-crime shirts.
The fundraiser is the annual appeal of The Hearing House and the Southern Cochlear Implant Paediatric Programme.
